Hello and thank you for stopping by my new blog! My name is Christie and I’m 42 years young. My key titles in life include Mother, Wife, and Marketing Specialist. I have always been a modestly active person who loves to bowl, walk and ride my bike. I’ve done exercise classes (Kickboxing being my favorite), belonged to local gyms and have tried fad diets like Weight Watchers and have even tried to make life style changes by doing the Whole 30. When I cook meals, I mostly cook from scratch.

As you can see…I have the intention to do great things when it comes to my health. So what’s holding me back and why have I not been able to stay on track to obtain my health goals? I could give you a million excuses but where will that get me? Exactly where I’m at right now…

Let’s not lament on failures. Instead we need to get to the root issues and make long term changes in order to follow our intention. I want to share my heath journey with others and have others share their journey with me. Let’s support one another as not everybody follows the same path but we can help hold each other accountable in a positive environment. We can share information such as recipes, books, articles, websites, exercise routines, etc.

Format: Every Monday I will post my weight and my intention for the week; I may even post pictures of myself during the transformation. What are the challenges? Should changes be made in order to reach and keep each goal being being set? I’ll also post my motivation for each week and answer any questions that may come along. Stay tuned!
